Sharing the Good News -Smokey is foundation bred double registered Paint/Pinto gelding that Bob and I bred. He's a very kind hearted, quiet, willing animal and who is extremely patient. My husband Bob, pictured driving him, has had a stroke and is half blind; Smoke takes excellent care of him. Bob uses Smoke to ride the trails, sort cattle and drive his buck board wagon. My daughter and I have shown Smokey successfully at open shows in halter, showmanship, pleasure, horsemanship and trail. In 2015, I won the advanced division buckle series at D Bar D's Competitive Trail Challenge with him. Smoke is safe for riding double with small children and is a great baby sitter for my 3 yr old granddaughter. He bathes, clips and trims with out any trouble...and will jump in trailer on que. He's traffic, quad, tractor and bulldozer safe. He goes up and down the road with no problems under saddle and hitched. In 2016, I started to teach him to accept gun fire and shot bow and arrow off of him. Currently, being used as my main riding horse and in my lesson program, Smoke stands 14.1 hands tall and is 17 this year.
