Blog's PurposeMy intent for this blog is to share what I have learned about horses and their holsitic care over my 45 years of working with horses. I plan to blog here during the winter months, starting in 2026! We also have a Facebook page under our ranch name, North River Ranch. I read a lot and like to share what I read on that page. I will also share my thoughts a feelings there about what is wrong in our industry. We have to learn to put the welfare of these animals, which God has gifted to us, above our wants and desires to win. We can still compete, just have to do it in a way that does not exploit the animal or cause it harm in any way.
